Dr. Andrea Y. Shelton has spent ten plus years as an educator for various grade levels. She has been a homeschool instructor and tutored students from preschool to the undergraduate level.

Dr. Shelton has coordinated youth ministry for churches. She functioned as a codirector of a neighborhood vacation Bible school and enhanced other children's curricula with innovative and creative ideas. She holds graduate degrees in divinity and counseling, and a doctoral degree in educational leadership. She has travelled as a missionary and interacted with children in several foreign countries.
